The city’s Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities is celebrating National Photography Month with an exhibit at the Pine Camp Cultural Arts and Community Center.

The exhibit, “Slices of Life: RVA,” will open with a reception 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, May 13, and run through June 17 at the Spotlight Gallery, 4901 Old Brook Road.

The exhibit highlights the work of area photographers in digital, film and pinhole photographs.

Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday.
