The Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities is hosting a free public forum on ageism from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, at Temple Beth El, 3330 Grove Ave.

The event is part of the VCIC’s RVA Table Talk series that allows participants to share their stories, perspectives and ideas about ideas facing the community.

The goal for the ageism forum is to have people from different backgrounds connect to create a more equitable and just Richmond.

The program includes dinner, a presentation, reflections and conversation.

Co-sponsors include the Great Richmond Age Wave, the Virginia Center on Aging, the Virginia Commonwealth University Department of Gerontology and Altria Group.
