The Richmond Association of Black Social Workers is hosting Umoja Karamu, its annual Black Family Ritual from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, at Six Points Innovation Center, 3001 Meadowbridge Road in Highland Park.

The event’s goal is to bring together RABSW members and community members committed to restoring black families and healthy black communities.

Highlights include breaking bread together, honoring the ancestors and working on healing the wounds of the past.
