Richmond’s biggest outdoor art show returns this weekend to Byrd Park after a two-year pause because of the pandemic.

Arts in the Park, featuring 450 craft and fine artists, will run 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, April 30, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, May 1, around the Carillon.

The 51st annual show will feature the works of local and regional artists, as well as artists from across the country.

The free event is sponsored by the Carillon Civic Association, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting various nonprofits, charities and organizations. The proceeds also help maintain the Carillon neighborhood through the nonprofit civic association.

Free parking with free shuttle service is available at City Stadium, 3201 Maplewood Ave. Handicapped parking is available in a lot by the Carillon.

Food and concessions will be available. People are asked to leave their pets at home.
