No Trump card here

Re “Playing the ‘Trump’ card,” Dec. 3-5 edition:

I saw on national television how Richmond Pastor Stephen A. Parson Sr. was touting how he and many others were endorsing Donald Trump.

Not so fast pastor. Many pastors that attended the meeting have said publicly that they have not decided on any candidate at this time. Everyone is entitled to his or her opinion, but do not make it seem that you are leading a majority of black pastors for Mr. Trump when it ain’t so. This type of rhetoric might get you national TV exposure, but the truth is Mr. Trump has a long way to go in order to get the majority of the black and Latino vote.

Pastor Parson seems to be on a crusade to elect Donald Trump as president of the United States. Pastor Parson, regardless of what you are stating, I do not hear any concrete ideas from Mr. Trump that will elevate this country or ethnic people to a higher standard. It seems as though Mr. Trump is very comfortable bashing people and mimicking persons with disabilities, which he has denied. But I know what I saw.

I just do not see where Mr. Trump would be a good president for this country if his behavior is anything like it is on the campaign trail. Again, everyone is entitled to his or her opinion. You can rest assured Mr. Trump will not be my person of choice at election time.
