City health department offering free sports physicals

Richmond City Health District will provide free sports physicals to high school and middle school youths ages 13 and older at the Gilpin and Hillside Community Resource centers.
The schedule:
Gilpin Resource Center, 436 Calhoun St., 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Aug. 2.
Hillside Resource Center, 1615 Glenfield Ave., 1 to 5 p.m. Aug. 2.
What to bring: A current April 2016 Virginia High School League (VHSL) Athletic Parental Consent/Physical Exam Form that is completed and signed by the student and parent or guardian.
Youngsters must be accompanied by a parent or adult.
The physicals are free. Walk-ins are welcome, but appoint- ments are preferred.
