Richmond residents can recycle old and broken computers and other electronic equipment, as well have their sensitive documents shredded, in an E-Cycle event 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 21, at 6807 Midlothian Turnpike, the parking lot of a former Kmart.
The E-Cycle event is hosted by the Richmond Department of Public Works.
Most items will be accepted without charge, including five boxes of documents per car. There is a $10 fee for recycling televisions, but other items — ranging from printers, VCRs, camcorders and stereos to computer systems — will be taken without charge.
