In observance of Memorial Day on Monday, May 28, please note the following:
Public schools: Closed Monday.
Government
Federal, state, city and county offices: Closed Monday.
Richmond, Chesterfield and Henrico courts: Closed Monday.
City and county offices, courts and public libraries: Closed Monday.
Trash pickup and recycling: No collection on Monday; collections resume Tuesday, May 29, but delayed by one day.
U.S. Postal Service: No delivery on Monday.
Department of Motor Vehicles customer service centers: Closed Monday.
Banks and financial institutions: Closed Monday.
ABC stores: Regular store hours on Monday.
Malls, major retailers and movie theaters: Varies. Inquire at specific locations.
GRTC: Buses will operate on a Sunday/holiday schedule on Monday.
Free Press offices: Closed Monday, May 28.
