Google to host free internet workshop Friday

Google, the giant internet search engine, will host a free workshop aimed at boosting the digital skills of job seekers and small business owners at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 8, at the Richmond Public Library’s Main Branch, 101 E. Franklin St.
Dubbed “Grow with Google,” the workshop will offer training by a Google team of computer coaches to help participants take advantage of the training and tools the company offers.
The program is to include group activities and one-on-one help, the company stated.
Richmond is just one of the stops Google is making at libraries that offer job search assistance and basic digital skills training.
