2020 Festival of Arts goes online with live virtual performances

The coronavirus can’t stop the show.
The 2020 Festival of Arts, the annual summer entertainment festival sponsored by the Richmond Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities and typically held at Dogwood Dell Amphithe- ater, has gone virtual.
Weekly live performances will be streamed on the department’s Facebook page at www. facebook.com/rvaparksandrec/.
The 40-minute sets will be held online 7 p.m. each Friday through Aug. 21.

Susan Greenbaum (Folk/Pop) on July 31
A Festival Frolic (Dogwood Dell Musical Revue) on Aug. 7
City Dance Theatre on Aug. 14
Kadencia (Afro-Puerto Rican) on Aug. 21
