Hoops camp offers food, backpacks

The Armando Bacot Back to School Basketball Camp is set for Sept. 3-4 at Big Ben’s Home Court, 2206 Westwood Ave. The event is free.
University of North Carolina All-American Bacot will conduct the camp, along with former UNC player Ed Davis and several other current Tar Heels.
The free event is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days for children ages 7 to 16. There will be food and various giveaways, including backpacks.
