Justice takes root at eco camp

Virginia Interfaith Power & Light will host its annual youth eco camp on Wednesday, Aug. 6, at Union Presbyterian Seminary in Richmond.
The camp, themed “Discovering Environmental Justice,” is open to youth ages 12 to 18. Activities include environmental games, crafts and lessons focused on the importance of trees, clean water, air quality, healthy soil and creation care.
The free event runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Lunch and snacks will be provided.
