In celebration of National Bike to Work Week, RVA Bikeshare is encouraging Richmond residents to leave their cars behind and hop on one of the program’s electric bikes.

Through May 18, RVA Bikeshare will post a new promotional code each day on its social media accounts. The first 50 riders to redeem the daily code will unlock a free 45-minute ride. To participate, riders must be registered with the program.

This promotion is part of RVA Bikeshare’s effort to promote eco-friendly commuting and provides a fun, healthy way for Richmonders to bike to work, run errands, or enjoy a leisurely ride around the city.

To access the daily promo code, follow RVA Bikeshare on social media platforms Instagram (@rvabike\_share) and X (@rvabikeshare).

RVA Bikeshare operates 20 self-service stations throughout the city, along with a fleet of electric bikes. The program serves as a vital multimodal link for many Richmond residents, offering a reliable first-and-last-mile transportation solution.

RVA Bikeshare is managed by the Office of Equitable Transit and Mobility, which is part of the Department of Public Works. To learn more about RVA Bikeshare or explore membership options, visit rvabikes.com.
