More than 25,000 runners and walkers turned out last Saturday for the annual Monument Avenue 10K. Philo Germano, 23, of Charlottesville is the first to cross the finish line in the main 10K race in 29 minutes, 34 seconds, while, Bethany Sachtleben, 27, of Fairfax wins the women’s race in 32:39.
