Jabriel Hasan addresses the crowd last Saturday at the Black Coalition of Change Justice Rally to Unify and Empower the Black Community. The event, held at Mount Olivet Church in Church Hill, brought together numerous organizations, businesses, movement organizers and area residents over food, music, dance, health and community engagement. Sponsors included the 381 Movement, RVA Vanguard, Elegba Folklore Society, Virginia Interfaith Power & Light, Virginia Union University, Community Love and Queen Richardson, among others.
