Cityscape: Slices of life and scenes in Richmond/The mural “African American Gothic” is a modern take on Grant Woods’ classic 1930 painting titled “American Gothic” that depicts an elderly farming couple with the man holding a pitchfork. This version, created by artists Andre Shank and Sone-Seeré, can be found on a building at 404 E. Grace St. in Downtown.
