Cityscape Slices of life and scenes in Richmond-The 140-year-old Thirteen Acres School building stands behind Linwood Holton Elementary in the Hermitage Road Historic District. Built around 1885 as a brick farmhouse and later used by Richmond Public Schools for special education and office space, the structure has been vacant for nearly 20 years and is deteriorating.
