The rear of the future VPM building on Broad Street in downtown Richmond is under construction Tuesday, Sept. 2. The five-story, 53,000-square-foot facility is expected to open in 2026. The new headquarters will feature a visible newsroom, a street-level community studio and an event space designed to host audiences and civic programming. It is being developed on a former parking lot at 15 E. Broad St.
