Virginia Union University has resolved the housing problems that troubled the private institution last week just before classes started.
The 63 upperclassmen who initially were housed at a nearby hotel have “either comfortably settled in on campus or in one of the 29 apartments (VUU) rented,” VUU spokeswoman Vanessa Coombs said Tuesday.
Ms. Coombs also said VUU is on “track to reach our goal of 1,750 students for the 2015-16 academic year.” She said specific fall enrollment numbers will be released later because “students are still checking in.”
