The city’s Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities will host an exhibit at the Pine Camp Arts and Community Center featuring area African-American artists.

The exhibition, “To Sir With Love: African-American Male as Subject,” opens Friday, Feb. 5, at the Spotlight Gallery, 4901 Old Brook Road, with a “Meet the Artists” reception from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

The free exhibition continues through March 4 and will feature images of African-American males in various media including photography, ceramics, paintings and textile art.

The Spotlight Gallery is open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.
