The Rev. Tyrone E. Nelson, the Varina District representative on the Henrico County Board of Supervisors and pastor of Richmond’s Sixth Mount Zion Baptist Church, will hold a district meeting Tuesday, May 2, to discuss the heroin and opioid epidemic in Henrico County.

The meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the Henrico Theater, 305 E. Nine Mile Road in Highland Springs.

Henrico County Manager John A. Vithoulkas and a member of the Henrico Heroin Task Force will participate in the discussion on heroin and opioid abuse and ways to prevent it.
