The Richmond City Health District is hosting a back-to-school health fair for Richmond Public Schools students 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 25, at the health district clinic, 400 E. Cary St.
Services offered include Tdap booster shots — against tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis — for sixth-grade students, vaccinations for school entry, and physicals for Head Start and school entry.
Appointments are not necessary, with services provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
Parents must provide immunization records and, if applicable, bring insurance cards for students to receive services.
For easier access to the clinic, use the entrance at the corner of 4th and Main streets.
All RPS students are required to be up to date on their vaccinations to start school on Tuesday, Sept. 5.
