North Side’s newly renamed school is having a fall celebration.

Barack Obama Elementary School is hosting its 6th Annual Fall Extravaganza 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10. The event will kick off with a student parade starting at Richmond Community High School, 201 E. Brookland Park Blvd., to the elementary school at 3101 Fendall Ave.

Food, music and entertainment will be featured at the school, where raffles with prizes, giveaways and other family activities will take place.
