Sorority and South Side church to host voting information fair

Richmond voters have a new opportunity to learn and prepare for the upcoming general elections in November on Saturday, Oct. 22.
The Community Voting & Information Fair, organized by the Richmond Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., in partnership with Second Baptist Church of South Richmond, will allow eligible Richmond residents to register to vote, check their registration status, and learn about candidates and issues on the ballot.
Health information, music and dance, children’s activities and food also will be available at the event, which is free. The fair is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Second Baptist Church of South Richmond, 3300 Broad Rock Blvd.
