A recent Richmond Free Press article noted there are not enough shelters for adults with children in the Richmond area.

This problem needs to be rectified very soon. This winter is predicted to be the coldest in a while. We should not have babies, toddlers, school-age children and their parents without a place to stay. This is a travesty that needs to be fixed immediately for the greater good. No one should be left out in the cold during this frigid winter season.

City officials, let’s move expeditiously to correct this problem by doing the right thing.
