Virginia Union University and MTX Group announced a partnership aimed at integrating artificial intelligence into student learning and workforce preparation during a news conference in the Living and Learning Center on campus on Tuesday afternoon.
The collaboration will focus on designing AI-powered educational technology to enhance the student experience and better prepare learners for a rapidly evolving job market. The partnership combines MTX’s expertise in digital transformation with Virginia Union’s focus on workforce development and public sector engagement.
“This joint venture reflects a powerful alignment of vision. As AI and technology continue to reshape the world, we have a responsibility to ensure students are not just observers of change but active participants in it,” said Das Nobel, MTX Group founder and CEO.
VUU President and CEO Hakim J. Lucas said the partnership will allow the university to integrate AI into the student experience in ways that are practical and transformative.
“Together, we are ensuring that our students graduate not just with degrees, but with the technological fluency, critical thinking and workforce readiness required to thrive in a rapidly changing economy,” Lucas said.
