Colin Egan #3219 and Ronnie Nickerson #3253 at the starting line at the Broad Street Mile. Thousands took part in the second annual Virginia Commonwealth University Broad Street Mile on Saturday. The event included a street festival, a 5K run and a series of 1-mile fun runs. It raised more than $1.7 million for more than 600 charities. Location: West Broad Street near Belvidere Street.
