Donovan Walker, 58, of Richmond helps his godmother Caroline Bennett battle her leaves so she does not have to do it, he said on Tuesday, Nov. 8, during a short break from his task in the 2400 block of 2nd Avenue near Spruce Street. According to the City of Richmond’s website, the leaf collection program began Monday, Nov. 7, for the bagged collection option. The City allows up to 10 bags to be collected on a normal trash day.
