Bassist Brick with Virginia band Lay Waste delivered a set of death metal and grindcore music for demonstrators at the “Rage Against the Regime” open mic and protest in Monroe Park on Saturday evening, Aug. 2. Organized by 50501VA and Punks 4 Liberation, the event brought together local indie rock, hardcore, and cover vocalists, bands, and concerned citizens from across Richmond to speak out against the Trump administration.
