Community efforts bring warmth to students-Community groups and organizations stepped in last week to help Richmond students stay warm as colder weather sets in, with two separate coat distribution efforts
reaching hundreds of children. Diversified Energy, a natural gas and oil company, partnered with Operation Warm to provide 527 new coats to students at Henry L. Marsh III Elementary School. The event marked the fifth year of the partnership, which focuses on distributing new winter clothing to children in under-resourced communities. Diversified Energy employees handed out the coats ahead of the winter months.
