Richmond residents and VCU students gathered at Monroe Park on Wednesday, March 19, to protest the resumption of Israeli airstrikes on Gaza. The demonstration, organized by the Party for Socialism and Liberation Virginia, called for an end to the conflict in Palestine and the release of Palestinian activist Mahmoud Khalil, who was arrested earlier this month by federal immigration authorities and faces deportation.
