Teacher Cierra Claughton selects books for her seventh- grade English class at Clark Springs Elementary School Wednesday. She and other teachers, administrators and students made the transition this week into the West End elementary school after they were forced to move from Elkhardt Middle School in South Side because of a mold infestation.
Take a book or two, read them and then return them when you’re finished, using the honor system. And perhaps place a book or two in the “Little Free Library” for others to enjoy. What a novel idea. This community box in the 1600 block of Laburnum Avenue on North Side invites book readers to do just that. Roughly a dozen mini libraries are scattered around Richmond.
