First Freedom Center
The new First Freedom Center located at 14th and Cary streets in Downtown Richmond. The center’s mission is to commemorate and educate about freedom of religion and conscience as proclaimed in Thomas Jefferson’s Virginia Statute for Religious Freedom. The statute led to the religious clauses in the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.
