Father and son Jerome and Jeromyah Jones have made art a way of life, and their recent work, “Dissertation on Peace Exhibit (DOPE)” at Henrico County’s Fairfield Library, presents art related to history, self-discovery, self-determination, family unity, and community responsibility.
The artists presented an exhibit and led a discussion about their work at the library last Saturday.
Together they have exhibited at the Black History Museum and Cultural Center of Virginia, the Hampton University Museum, the Trumpet Awards Celebration in Atlanta, the Museum of the Bible and more. They also were featured artists in the global Google doodle during Juneteenth 2022.
