A giant slide found a more than willing slider in 5-year-old Lailani Maragh during the 17th Annual WE CARE Community Festival on Aug. 12 at Hotchkiss Community Center. The annual festival promotes wellness and education.

Barriers were removed on Aug. 29 at the former site of the Robert E. Lee statue on Richmond’s Monument Avenue. The circular space is now covered with flowers and greenery.
