Musical joy filled the fifth edition of the Richmond Jazz Festival. The entertainment spectacular Saturday and Sunday poured syncopated rhythms from three stages over the thousands of patrons who filled the spacious lawn at Maymont. The shows went on for 11 hours each day — a jazz and R&B extravaganza that spotlighted top performers. These views offer a sampling of the people and performances at this jazz and R&B.
