  • ...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1015 PM EDT FOR
    NORTHWESTERN LOUISA AND FLUVANNA COUNTIES...
    At 804 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
    that heavy rain was falling over the area. 3 to 5 inches of rain
    have fallen across the warned area with locally higher amounts.
    Flash flooding is already occurring and multiple roads are closed
    across the warned area.

    Louisa, Palmyra, Fork Union, Lake Monticello, Columbia, Ferncliff,
    Boswells Tavern, Kents Store, Troy, Gordonsville, Scottsville, Louisa
    Airport, Green Springs, Shores, Central Plains, Bremo Bluff,
    Cohasset, Waldrop, Trevilians and Hardware.
