Crusade for Voters to hold virtual get-to-know-the-candidates sessions

The Richmond Crusade for Voters is hosting a series of virtual sessions with candidates for statewide office, the House of Del- egates and local offices who are seeking the party’s nomination to run in the November general election.

The sessions will be offered on Zoom and are open to the public.

According to the Crusade, the meeting ID for all of the sessions will be 82634236927 and the passcode will be 132889. People also can dial in on their phone to (301) 715-8582 and use the meeting ID and password to listen in.

Here is the schedule:

Thursday, April 8: Attorney General candidate Jay Jones, 6 to 6:45 p.m.; gubernatorial candidate Lee Carter, 7 to 7:45 p.m.

Friday, April 9: Gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe, 6 to 6:45 p.m.; gubernatorial candidate Justin Fairfax, 7 to 7:45 p.m.

Thursday, April 15: Gubernatorial candidate Jennifer Carroll Foy, 6 to 7 p.m.; and Attorney General candidate Mark R. Herring, 7 to 8 p.m.

Saturday, April 17: Gubernatorial candidate Jennifer L. McClellan, 4 to 5 p.m.

Wednesday, April 21: Richmond sheriff candidates Antionette Irving, incumbent, and William Burnett, challenger, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.; and Richmond commonwealth’s attorney candidates Colette W. McEachin, incumbent, and Thomas P. Barbour Jr., challenger, 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Thursday, April 22: House of Delegate seats — District 71, Jeffrey M. Bourne, incumbent; Richard Walker, challenger, 6 to 7 p.m.; District 69, Betsy B. Carr, incumbent, Michael J. Jones, challenger, 7 to 8 p.m.; and District 68, Dawn M. Adams, incumbent, Kyle R. Elliott, challenger, 8 to 9 p.m.
