Need help with filing taxes?

United Way of Greater Richmond and Petersburg once again is offering free tax preparation services in partnership with a variety of organizations and volunteers.

Here is a sampling of the locations:

Blackwell Recreation Center, 300 E. 15th St., 6 to 8 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays; through April 5.

Capital Area Partnership Uplifting People (CAPUP), 1103 Oliver Hill Way, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays; 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Fridays; 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. some Saturdays; through April 7.

Neighborhood Resource Center, 1519 Williamsburg Road, 2 to 6 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays; 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday March 4 and April 1; through April 15.

Sacred Heart Center, 1400 Perry St., 4 to 8 p.m., Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays; through April 18.

St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 815 E. Grace St., 3:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesdays; 3:30 to 5 p.m. Wednesdays; 12:30 to 4 p.m. occasional Fridays; 9:45 am. to 1 p.m. some Saturdays; through April 15.

Also, Virginia State University accounting students are back for the 36th year to providing free tax preparation services on campus at Singleton Hall, Room 326. Services are available 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays and 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays.
